About Us

To put it simply we are a small group of people who help others every day in our professional lives. But that isn't all that we have in common, at some point in those lives each of us has developed an interest in the paranormal to some degree. Our group as a whole seeks to combine those two important parts of our lives; helping others, and the paranormal. OSPI was founded by Joshua Whitaker and Shawn Coontz in the fall of 2007. Presently we have three members, a small array of equipment, and an eager interest in the field that some of us have had since childhood.

What we bring to investigations are real life experiences plus a wide arrange of knowledge in construction and public safety which includes the fire service, emergency medical services, and law enforcement. We also bring professionalism, courtesy, and sincerity. Our promise is to be there for you in your time of need. We will follow a line of scientific reasoning and collect evidence to either prove or disprove supernatural occurrences. We will never, under any circumstances, ask you for money and in return we give you all the time we have to offer. We also promise that if we cannot help you we will find someone who can.

At OSPI we believe that there is strength in community. We would be happy, honored in fact, to accompany other groups on investigations.
